Insomnia

"Methought I heard a voice cry 'Sleep no more!
Macbeth does murder sleep', the innocent sleep,
Sleep that knits up the ravell'd sleeve of care,
The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath,
Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
Chief nourisher in life's feast,--"

Wow. I seriously need to develop something akin to a normal sleep schedule before I just totally lose my mind (assuming, of course that I have one left worth losing). This whole massive amounts of sleep on the weekend and virtually no sleep during the week just isn't working. It's not like I don't TRY. I have at least the pontential of getting 8 hours every night. That kind of falls apart when you don't fall asleep until two hours after you goto bed. No matter how tired I am, I can't sleep to shut my brain off enough in order to enter into a relaxed state. Why can't I be one of these "blessed" people who can, apparently, shut their brains off ay will. Not to mention that I've had some pretty serious shit on my mind lately (ignorance (of events) is so not bliss).
Oh and not to be left out, my digestive track tends to use the wee hours to remind me just how much it hates me. Why can't my internal organs play nice with me? What are they hoping for a better real estate deal? Hopefully I can get some sleep tonight, though it looks doubtful. I suppose I could go to bed earlier so that even with the sleep delay I'd be alright. However, that would require self-displince, which I clearly don't have.
To round all of this out here is
an essay explaining that I am not in fact, a freak. I know it's long and it looks technical, but I swear, it's really terribly interesting (you can ignore all the biogeek stuff, I certainly don't understand any of it).
I've been saying for a long time that we need to get over our anachronistic dependence on day/night cycles and maximize the productivity of our society.
Time for tea, decaf, (and maybe sleep)

"...or what?"

:-D <---Shakespeare freak.

"To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub/For in that sleep of death what dreams may come..."

Haha, no, yours fits better. However, I love Hamlet more than Macbeth. Hammy's just better in bed, and has a "Tales for the L337" on Albinoblacksheep.com

I'd recognize that emicon anywhere. Hamlet is an awesome play. I prefer it to Macbeth, but it's close. RGAD is even better. You are going to read it, aren't you?
on the nature of being:
"You can't not "be" on a boat"
"I've frequently not been on boats"

Hose boy:
I'll just point out that you have nothing better to do, than make fun of my typos.
